‘Every Christmas Story Ever Told’ Brings Holiday Hilarity to Putnam Lodge and Chief Theatre
(L-R): M. Lanette Six, Brandt Beach and William Burr in Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)

MAYO, Fla. — Lafayette County residents looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the season with a night of laughter have two opportunities to catch the holiday comedy Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) this December.

Just a short drive from Mayo, the production offers a festive mashup of beloved holiday tales, performed by a cast featuring Brandt Beach, William Burr, and M. Lanette Six.

The play’s premise is a chaotic delight: three actors, originally tasked with performing a serious rendition of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, decide to ditch the script. Instead, they attempt to perform every other holiday favorite they can think of. From Frosty to Rudolph, and exploring holiday traditions from around the globe, the show creates a fast-paced parody that manages to remain respectful of the true Christmas spirit.

Written by Michael Carleton, James Fitzgerald, and John K. Alvarez, the show is being presented through special arrangement with Broadway Licensing LLC.

Locals have two distinct ways to experience the show: an upscale dinner theatre experience in Cross City or a traditional stage performance in Chiefland.
